Swahili and English are the official languages of Tanzania. However, there are over 100 other tribal languages spoken throughout the nation.

There are an estimated 120 various tribes across the country, each with their own languages, customs, styles of dress and dancing. Some of the most well-known Tanzania tribes include: Hadzabe, Maasai, Chagga and Meru.
